Unknown
Born in the womb of Mama Liberia. “IT’S A SHE” traverses geographical boundaries gripping Tue reader’s mind, and emotions taking you through a journey of power, loss, determination, failure, and the author’s favorite words persistence and resilience. Beautifully expressed, the author allows the reader a peek into her pain, weakness, and worries to a place of determination , rising and overcoming. “IT’S A SHE: A TALE OF LIFE, LOSS, AND LOVE” is a clarion call to readers of all ages, nationalities, and backgrounds to rise up and dare to be that which they have only dreamt of being.
Based on the author’s real-life experience, Magdalene vividly paints a picture of sheltered privilege, shattered dreams, overcoming obstacles, and a determination to succeed. The book begins with the author’s difficult entrance into the world, a metaphor of the different stages of life and opportunities she encountered, and her ability to grab life by the horns and steer on to success. “IT’S A SHE” raises a mirror to the readers mind, spirit, and soul, pointing out the broken and scarred areas of life, yet inspiring the reader to wear those scars boldly even while seeking to heal and break the proverbial glass ceilings to reach one’s dream.
May this book challenge you to embrace your scars, dust yourself off, and seek healing even as you rise up to resiliently go after your dreams.
